Thor's Well is a unique feature of the Oregon coastline. It is best viewed from 1 hour before high tide to one hour after high tide. This image was taken at high tide and the waves were going over the well, filling it completely. An occasioanal wave was splashing over the black rocks. As spectacular the images can be when taken at the edge of the well, I did not feel safe for me or my camera to get close to the edge.
Garden City pier in South Carolina taken at sunrise. Since the sky was clear, I decided to shoot with the sun trhough the pier to capture it as a star burst as well as the shadows from the pier.
